Dr. Sturtevant graduated from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and attended Harvard University’s Masters Program in Biotechnology.  He went on to attend Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating with his Doctorate of Optometry in 2015 following his externships with Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut, Northwest Eyecare Professionals, Patch Barracks Optometry Clinic (US Army in Germany), and Roseburg VAMC.  He joined Eye Physicians of Northampton in 2021.

Dr. Sturtevant has returned home after working several years as an optometrist in the Pacific Northwest.  He spent over six years doing volunteer eye care in the U.S. and Costa Rica as well as being a research assistant in several areas of molecular and bacterial biology.

Dr. Sturtevant lives in the Pioneer Valley near family and friends, re-exploring, mountain biking, camping, and getting to know us all over again.
