Omer Gal, M.D.

Born in Israel and raised in Wisconsin, Dr. Gal attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison for her undergraduate studies and Sackler School of Medicine in Israel for her medical education. She then pursued Internal Medicine training, a pre-residency ophthalmology fellowship and research in Ultrasound Biomicroscopy in New York City before completing her Ophthalmology Residency at Louisiana State University and moving on to complete her advanced fellowship training in Oculoplastics in Pensacola, Florida.

Dr. Gal specializes in the surgical management of the eyelids including droopy eyelids, eyelid malpositioning, floppy eyelid disease, skin cancers that affect the eyelids, Bell’s palsy, and involuntary facial twitching including benign essential blepharospasm, and hemifacial spasm. Dr. Gal also offers non-invasive facial cosmetic augmentation through botulinum toxin and facial filler injections. She also practices comprehensive clinical ophthalmology including glaucoma management and lasers.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, cooking and spending time with her husband, daughter, and rescue pitbull.
